Pool Party 2

We had a wonderful time at the annual pool party and bbq our friends held in August. They had so much stuff left over and a good forecast that they decided to have a re-run this weekend!

After madams late night, our morning didn’t go to plan and she ended up in bed for a nap at 2. When she was up and had lunch, we popped out for snacks to take to the party before we went off for another evening of fun.

The kids had a glorious time. The pool was on the chilly side (I went in at sunset, so I know!) but Katie went in about 5 times.

BBQ, sunshine, fire pit and great big bonfire of course followed. The kids ran around the amazing garden, played on the garage band equipment, trampolined by torchlight til 10.30 when she suddenly became certain it was time to go. We got home at 11.15. She flopped on her bed and was asleep in seconds.
