Quod oculus meus videt

Frosty Autumn Morning

A beautiful frosty morning with not a cloud in the sky.

Contortions undergone to capture this image. Imagine a tripod with legs spread at 90 deg, the camera about 4 inches off the planks. My knee slowly freezing as I kneel on the frozen planks to check the composition in the view finder and a drop of a couple of feet into icy water within a few inches.

The things we do for a photograph!

Had no internet connection for a couple of days so a back blip had to be used.

Here are the images from Friday and Saturday.
