Strolling in love

Ms Munn at Other People's Stories was asking if I have any old stories about the location of The Old Homestead

I do but I searched for a photograph to show that is strong enough of environment to build 'place' that is peopled and not a ghost environment as we call our towns that were mining towns and no longer in existence.

I stopped on this one because it feels poignant in its simplicity. The people are one of my mother's sisters and her fiance. Unsure if they were married by then c.1938.

I wrote a rambling blip here in 2013. It shows, however a map and the text skimmed through will reveal a sense of the history of the end of the town.
