Success

Today was a successful day. Thibault wasn't going to be in school today so he asked if I'd like the opportunity to take his whole class. Not sure if it was him doing me a favour or me doing a favour for him. They're a really nice class who are great at English and so I was pretty happy (even a little bit excited which is strange!) to teach them. We were doing vampires and they had such excellent ideas, I really enjoyed the class and hope they did too!

In the evening, I finally managed to meet up with the other English speakers in the area. We had heard lots of talk of them but had never managed to get in touch with them. Shadi, from New Jersey and Rebekah from Ottowa were absolutely lovely. Hati and Dom were there too so we really did make an English take over of the bar. After buying a couple of glasses of wine each, the waitor came over and told us that our next drinks were on him, we couldn't quite understand why he would offer us all free drinks but we weren't going to turn them down. Finally wandered home around 1.30 after making plans to go to the market together the next day (if we were awake in time!)
