The Cinema

This evening we returned to the wonderful open air cinema we had discovered on our last visit here in 2011. It must be run as a social enterprise by local enthusiasts and it is full of character. This year we sat in deck chairs and as we watched the film bats and fire flies flew overhead. The film? The Darkest Hour. I’ve wanted to see it since it’s release and we were not disappointed. I thought the acting was excellent.

It has been a good day, including a walk the the nearby village , swimming, (sailing - for Andy) and reading.
