Carting corn .....

Sunday- day of rest !
First off , baled up the oat straw from yesterday. There is a lot of green in it so wrapped it like silage as it would heat and spoil otherwise.
Left wee brother on the combine and went away down the road to bandit country to bale up the rest of yesterday’s barley straw. Will need to wrap it too , so left Kev to cart it home while I went away to another neighbouring arable farm to bale up 30 acres of wheat straw we have bought.
Had that done by 7pm then back up the road to wrap this afternoons bales. Once that was done carted in oats from the field wee brother was cutting. The nights are fair drawing in, lights were needed by 9 pm. Soon be Christmas !
