Day 12. Pashupatinath temple

Today was our first day at work, It was not as exciting as I thought, we are hoping that tomorrow we will have more ideas about our roles and tasks.

We went back to our hotel walking, we stopped at the Pashupatinath temple, one of the most significant Hindu temples in the world (only Hindus can go in), it is located in the banks of the Bagmati river, a holy river, where cremations are performed 24/7. We saw 3 cremations and at least 3 human bodies laying on the banks of the rivers being looking after their loved ones. It was all surreal. The smoke, the fire, the human bodies, the tourists, the local people selling collars, the polluted river, the sadus, the deers, the monkeys, the market stalls, the lingams statues... for a moment I thought I was dreaming... Today all was a completed new experience for me.

Highlights
1. The dog which bite Mr Spoon has been vaccinated three times.
2. We got a phone called from a Monk, his name is Sewan, he is a very sweet young monk
3. We had a delicious dinner.

Hoy fue nuestro primer día en el trabajo, no fue tan emocionante como yo pensaba, esperamos que mañana tener más ideas sobre nuestros roles y tareas.
Volvimos a nuestro hotel caminando, nos detuvimos en el templo de Pashupatinath, uno de los templos hindúes más importantes en el mundo (sólo los hindúes pueden entrar), este se encuentra en las orillas del río Bagmati, un río sagrado, donde las cremaciones se realizan 24/7. Vimos 3 cremaciones y al menos 3 cuerpos humanos reposando en las riberas del río sagrado, siendo cuidado por sus seres queridos. Todo fue surrealista. El humo, el fuego, los cuerpos, los turistas, los lugareños vendiendo collares, el río contaminado, los Sadus, los venados, los monos, los puestos, las estatuas penes ... por un momento pensé que estaba soñando ... Hoy puedo decir que fue una experiencia completamente nueva para nosotros.

Positivos:
1. El perro que mordio al Sr Cuchara ha sido vacunado tres veces.
2. Recibimos una llamada de un monje, su nombre es Sewan, él es un monje joven muy dulce.
3. Tuvimos una cena deliciosa.
