sunset

i haven't seen many dramatic sunset around here. i like dramatic sunsets.

i miss having friends. i miss being able to say, hey let's go do something, and we actually go do it. here, people tell me we'll do something and i never hear from them again. i invite them when i do stuff and they'll turn it down. there's always an excuse.

i find it funny that my dad make fun of westerners for their politeness and how they're not honest. according to my dad, when westerners compliment you, they're just being polite. even if they don't like it, they'll still say nice things about it. it's like that everywhere, dad.

people from every country think their cultural values are unique, but they're not. fundamentally, we're still humans. you'll see how you're similar to someone half a world a way if you're willing to open your eyes.
