Backlit Wild Flowers

There was a mild frost last night but little remained by the time I ventured out. However, when I out walking the dogs (at the weekend I go dog walking with a couple of other friends so there is a group of six or seven dogs) we stopped for a cigarette break in a copse (not my habit I hasten to exclaim ) the sun was shining brightly and beautifully backlighting some wild flowers/grasses that still had frost upon them. They immediately caught my eye and I tried a number of shots knowing full well that the range of contrast was probably too wide for my camera to cope. However, this shot I was able to rescue though I had to ditch the slanting rays of sunlight and concentrate on the backlit plant.
