Tobermory

Today's the day ……………………… to go up town

These three buildings on the harbour at Tobermory will be instantly recognisable to anyone who is a lover of the Isle of Mull.

I remember being on a flight from Glasgow to Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides and the plane flew over the island.  Even at that height, it was perfectly possible to pick out these three stalwarts - who have been these colours for as long as I can remember.  Maybe it's now written into the law of the island?  All the buildings that front the harbour are a colourful lot as you can see in the extra.

Having spent the last few days literally at the end of nowhere with a single track road to get there - no shops and very few people.  To find ourselves in the busy hub that is Tobermory, was a bit of a shock to the system.  We didn't stay long ………………………...
