Moorhen

Walked round Marton Mere Nature Reserve today with the volunteers and others, and then drove to Lytham and walked round the lake.

Other than this moorhen, I didn’t get close enough to any of the birds. It would have been better to have taken a macro lens and concentrated on flowers or insects. 

The weather was cloudy at first but the sun came out in the early evening.
