the names Bond.. James Bond

There is nothing better on a rainy day than meeting friends for a leisurely brunch followed by a trip to the cinema and a pint afterwards in a pub, with a moose head on the wall, to help mull over the film. For the second week in a row we went to Acme cafe, a great precursor to watching Skyfall. It was amusing watching a film shot in Britain while being in Canada, for an hour or so I was transported home. The (possibly) largely Canadian audience got very excited by the appearance of the Aston Martin DB5 (lots of ooohoooo's) and applauded at the end of the film. In the pub afterwards we all agreed Skyfall had overtones of Home Alone about it, good though.
