Learning with Junk Mail

Hendrix spent a little time with us today, just while Daniel picked Joanne up from work. So Granny, Marlane,  spent some of the time teaching 'Ta' (thank you) with some junk mail. They passed it back and forth a lot of times and he enjoyed the game. Hasn't yet said 'Ta' but it will come. His favourite words are 'Dog' and 'Bird', both accompanied with much pointing.
From next Monday he will be with us for a few hours, 3 days a week, so the intensive interrogation and learning can commence in earnest  :-)
Apart from that he does enjoy throwing the large 'Duplo' bricks around.
