Late summer New Town garden

Term starts on Monday and today was a supposed 'research day' for me. Any guesses as to how I spent the past 12 hours chained to my computer?

My only escape was a quick mid-morning sortie to photograph the garden (it was not as warm as it looks out there), and a wee trot along the cycle paths at lunchtime.

Exercise today: 3 mile run, 8,540 steps (including run).
