Broughton Street window boxes

I often think how amazing the Edinburgh streets would look if everyone planted window boxes like these ones on Broughton Street.

I've had a hectic day of meetings, meeting follow-up, and email. The good news is that one of the grant proposals that I recently edited for a colleague has brought in some funding for him to explore research opportunities in Ethiopia, and it also looks like a second grant will head our way to support some work in Brazil.

The big excitement of the day, however, was the arrival in the post of the greeting cards that I created from my blips last Saturday. They look amazing!
