Birthday girl + 1

We have had a quieter day today which has been nice. 

I took some photos of Mum with a bouquet that arrived yesterday, organised by my cousin Margaret and her husband Peter in Australia. After I did the formal shot to send to them, I went on photographing as Mum returned to one of her favourite occupations!

Many thanks to all of you who sent birthday greetings to Mum yesterday. She has read them all and sends her thanks. It added to the pleasure of the day.

Dick is here cutting wet grass..........but the garden will look better afterwards. He won lots of prizes in the local leek show at the weekend. He brought me a bag of lovely vegetables which we will enjoy.
