No One Home

…and the lights aren’t even on.

Mrs madwill got up this morning, complaining of the cold.

“Put a jumper on” I said.
“I have” she said and tried to put the heating on.
“It’s not working and the bathroom is freezing” she wailed.
“Oh dear” I said, thinking of the money we would be saving.

I checked that the boiler was switched on and the pilot flame visible, it was all ok. The long and short of it seems to be that the controller has died… repair person on the way apparently!

At least we had hot water as we use the immersion heater for that.
