Making seeds

This is the same zinnia that I posted on Sept 2...now it is totaling fading away.    Too hot even though I have been watering.  I don't think this plant will make any more flowers as the stem looks really bad.

I have been collecting the seed heads when the flowers die completely so maybe I will have a bigger zinnia garden next year.
