Moissac cloister
We left Bordeaux at lunchtime, having been distracted by photographing in a lovely old clock shop on our way to the post office. I wanted to add a photograph of it as an extra but for some reason Blip isn't letting me.
En route to Thuir we stopped off at Moissac. A lovely little town with an abbey and cloisters that at one stage had a railway built through the middle of the abbey complex. The cloisters were lovely and are said to be the oldest in the world, dating from around 1100. I used to try to avoid getting people in my shots of this kind but increasingly I'm trying to get them in. I like how this woman was looking up at the lit up column.
