Hello Heron!

This is a bit of a poke at the Broon...it goes like this:  heron, kingfisher, heron. Ta da!!!

How wonderful that on my morning walk by the other pond (near my school), this heron poked up its head as it was frog hunting.  Shortly after I took this blip, he managed to catch a frog and flipped it up in the air.  Sadly, it was wildly out of focus both from the action and from the reeds and grasses in the way.  Shucks...next time  : )

And here I was going to get a flower for Flower Friday....

Off to see one of my 'oldest' friends this weekend....and meeting up with another friend from uni, as well.  Should be fun.  Have yourselves a lovely weekend  : ))
