Cairngorms , indeed.....

translated from the Gaelic means blue mountains and that's how they looked on a glorious Autumn day, with hot sun all day! Had a great walk, seeing many squirrels in the Hazels, the last Scotch Argus and Tortoiseshell butterflies and, still, a foraging small Scabious Mining bee!Also, found a wasp colony underground laying down honey. By the look of the disturbed area, a badger or fox or pine martin had dug out part of the honeycomb.
