Summer’s end

Readers of these Blips will know that Arnside Sailing Club got a Lottery Grant to buy a boat which was built in Arnside over a hundred years ago. It is called Severn.

For the last couple of months it has sailed in the Estuary and been on display on the beach.

Now it is time to put it safely away in its winter quarters.

My blip shows it being mounted on a trailer at high tide ready to be towed to the boatshed.
