We climbed about 100 steps...
.. inside Harrogate's Harlow Hill Observation tower this morning. The tower has been open to visitors this weekend and it was great weather for viewing quite long distances.
I concentrated on features of the town itself from this high viewpoint.
In the blip, we see a central feature of the town, the war memorial, opposite Bettys Tea Rooms (on the left with the clock tower) and St Peter's church in the background.
I've also included an extra, showing an area just outside the town centre where the main feature is Grove Road Primary School and the surrounding streets of terraced houses.
The views from the tower really show how much greenery surrounds the town, with hundreds of mature trees and the open space of The Stray.
