Memento Mori

Another garden orb spider; this time from the underside. She was spitting mad as the wind was making a mess of her orb and she was catching more Rosebay Willow Herb seeds than insects! Being a meat eater and with a tendency to eat any male that dares to mate with her, she is truly the Bringer of Death. 

Extra. Talking of death I have been scanning some old slides, including this ancient ivory Memento Mori (remember that you must die) which resides in the Cordoba Mezquita. Sleep well!
