Lots of advanced warning signs about for the Velo South bike ride in a couple of weeks’ time. It’s a festival of cycling with a 100 mile closed road sportive that starts and ends in the Goodwood Motor Circuit. As a cyclist myself I’m all for cycling on closed roads, although I gather this event is a bit controversial because it involves all day road closures.
