Canada Day 9

Today was the first proper day of the tour.  We started at Maligne Canyon and the waterfall there before some free time in Jasper to wander the shops and grab a coffee.  After that we headed down the Athabasca River to see the stunning Athabasca Falls (see Extras).  We grabbed some lunch and then headed into the Columbia Icefields, (see Extras again)

Isobel and I went for a walk on the Glacier Skywalk, Isobel stayed nearer to the cliff wall than I did and didn't actually make it on to the glass bottomed walkway in the main blip!

On our way to Banff we stopped for a photo app at Peyton Lake, a stunning turquoise colour from the silt and rock flour in the water.  (Also in Extras)
