Middle Eastern

Belton House and Gardens, near Grantham. Another National Trust place we have found for a break in the journey south. Some lovely gardens and lots of space for walking. This is a Cedar of Lebanon, planted over 200 years ago. A magnificent specimen. (And yes there is a cat there under the tree. Almost certainly the only cat I have blipped . . . ever!)

Now we are in Dover. We have an early morning ferry to catch tomorrow.
