In the woods

In the woods today there was no big surprise other than the brilliant sunshine. I suppose that itself is a big surprise. An even bigger surprise would have been if Aberdeen had won their match against Celtic, but that was never going to happen, and it didn't.

Had a coffee at the Milton craft centre and then walked up to the castle at Crathes (about a mile) for an ice cream before walking back down again. The encouragement to walk no doubt came from having exceeded 10,00 steps yesterday, only a bit over 8,000 today, but still pretty good I reckon.

A visit to the craft shops at Milton proved not too desperately expensive, so we could still afford to treat ourselves to an excellent Indian meal at Amaya in Westhill. For once we did not order too much and so the the first time managed to eat everything we ordered.
