When the highlight of one's day is grocery shopping, then it must be a very dull day indeed.

Mondays usually mean a day in front of the computer, and this Monday followed that pattern. Got a lot done that had to be done, I suppose. Any temptations to get up and go out for a walk were stifled by the strong wind and almost incessant rain outside.

However, needs must, and if a man has to eat something other than buttered toast for dinner, then a trip to the shops is called for. The particular shop in question has these creatures for sale - this one is called Marvin Mushroom - but one has to take out a second mortgage in order to purchase the full set. Spend £5 to get one token. Collect 30 tokens to buy one of these creatures for £2. I didn't actually count the number in the full set, but think of a fruit or vegetable and most were represented by a cuddly toy.

I bought my groceries and left, without stopping to collect a token. Sorry, Marvin and chums. Left on the shelf again.
