Day Break

Every early start this morning as we were woken at 5am. Breakfast at 5.30am and then a walk to the 38m high observation tower. Glad we got there about 7.30am so we could see some of the birds. Lots of toucans and parrots around. Headed down around 10am when it started to get hotter and most of the birds had gone to sleep. Walk through the rain forest and the guides found a leaf frog along with some poisonous dart frogs. Back to the canoe before returning to the lodge. Quick power nap before lunch. J went for a swim in the lagoon in the afternoon before getting ready to go out for another rain forest walk. This time we saw a few pigmy marmoset monkeys, which are one of the smallest in the world. A nice owl and a few more creepy crawlies. Had a bit of a night walk as well at the end where we were looked down on by some more monkeys. Managed to get back to the lodge for the last bit of happy hour and dinner before an early night exhausted
