Windsor Castle

Two of us are celebrating 60 glorious years this year, Queen Elizabeth II and me, so it seemed appropriate to visit her house in Windsor today. We weren't disappointed as it is quite wonderful and by the looks of things she was at home.
We visited the State Rooms, Galleries and Queen Mary's Dolls House, then had a cream tea at the Castle Hotel courtesy of No 1 son who'd arranged it for us as part of my jubilee.
Coincidentally, it was 20 years ago tomorrow that they had the fire where there was considerable damage to part of the castle. On that day I was driving by and remember seeing the smoke not for a minute realising the significance of it.
