Vacuum cleaners

I'm posting this blip for a number of reasons, firstly I was entranced with Queen Mary's Dolls House yesterday and reminded that I had a vacuum cleaner similar to hers, so here it is!
Secondly, I'm well known for being a serial de-clutterer so this dispels some of the myth, I do keep things that mean something to me. This is probably 50+years old.
Thirdly, during coffee with a dear friend and our talk wandered onto the subject of vacuum cleaners, just like some men talk about their favourite car. We, as ever, saw the funny side of things and roared with laughter about the type of things we talk about.
Fourthly, my lovely cleaner (real and called Margaret) comes on a Tuesday morning. She makes me laugh with her malapropisms and general outlook on life and cleans my house beautifully, although she doesn't use a vacuum cleaner quite like this.
Finally, I'm having acupuncture this afternoon and don't want to upset anyone with a blip of sharp needles!
