Just a quick one

It’s difficult to pass my favourite watering hole on the way back from the station without looking in after a difficult day in the office. Half an hour over a glass of wine makes it easier to relax when you do get home. Or does that sound like a typical middle class excuse for imbibing?

It wasn’t an easy day. Goalposts keep moving. Expectations are creeping up. More change is looming. People are feeling the pressure. One or two tempers got frayed.

Situation normal in other words.
