Youth

I went out to my fav spot to walk and take photos of the wildlife, after work.  What a gorgeous day!  I saw so many young animals looking almost as big as their parents now.  This female Cardinal was so tiny.  Only because of her size, I am guessing that she was a spring baby. I did a double-take when I saw her on a tree branch because of her size.  When I placed some seeds on a bench for the chickadees that were flying all around (they were actually photobombing!), she flew right down with them, beside me on the bench!

I actually photographed 5 Great Blue Herons and a Kingfisher.  What an amazing evening.  A great Hump Day  :))
