No Love Lost
Two molting male Mallards had a little squabble in the pond this evening. They did go their separate ways without any apparent damage; however, the one to the left seems to be injured already. I am beginning to think that he may be the one who is already missing part of his beak. Just like humans, birds will pick on the ones who they believe to be weaker or different.
Another gorgeous day. Another long walk. :))
I am a quote junkie and use them to complement my cemetery images. This is one of my favourites this week:
“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.”
~ Plato
Shine bright everyone :)))
