View from the top of Ben A'an
Despite the poor weather forecast we decided to head for Ben A'an to see if there was any visibility in the area. We were in luck and decided to climb up Ben A'an one of the lower mountains around here. It was a good walk and there were views from the top looking down to Loch Katrine and the surrounding areas. See extra for a panoramic view looking towards Ben A'an. It began to look like rain so we scampered back down again although there were still people climbing up.
Lunch was in the interesting town of Callander and then we headed for the stunning medieval cathedral at Dunblane. There is so much to do in this area but we couldn't pack anymore in so it was back to our hosts for dinner.
