Grey Heron

THURSDAY

Took a walk up to Greenhead Park late morning. This grey heron was perched on the moorhen's nest on the puddle that, with normal rainfall,  ought to be an ornamental lake. The bird showed no sign of moving on.

Three tightrope walkers were practicing between some nearby trees (see extra).
