Holy Flying Finial, Batman!

I went to the nursery today to pick up some mulch and plants. The turtles in the pond are always entertaining to watch. One was doing yoga. I had planned on having it for my blip (see extra), but my dragon dropped in again and insisted that he have his 15 minutes of fame. How could I refuse?

He was holding on tight as the wind was pretty strong this afternoon. Isn't the detail in his wings amazing?

I came home with a "Tutti Fruiti butterfly bush". It is a miniature and will reside in a container close to one of the hummingbird feeders. It took some effort figuring out the perfect place and getting the water source to it, but I think it will be worth it.

I caught a fleeting glimpse of a painted lady butterfly this morning. I knew they would be showing up soon and I think the added bush will help lure them in.

I am grateful to discover the smaller butterfly bush. I have been wanting one but the size has kept me from getting one. I am looking forward to seeing the hummers, skippers and butterflies enjoying the new addition.
