Covent Garden

I've been to London today for a meetingb about course measurement.
A good day with like minded people and we've had a good discussion.

The blips you didn't get today include:

* The Rugby supporters drinking beer at 7 am on the train! Why do people find it necessary to start so early when they're on train?

* The tape covering up most of The Northern Line on a sign. Essential work was taking place on large sections of the Underground today, affecting a number of lines.

* The staircase at The London Marathon offices that show photos of every winner. But I wasn't sure if photos were allowed so best not.

With time to kill after the meeting I decided to walk the two miles back to Euston. The route took me via Waterloo and the South Bank of the Thames, where there was a Christmas market. Over The Thames and up to Covent Garden.

I'd never seen Covent Garden in the build up to Christmas and it looks very impressive. I can always fill time at Covent Garden so the baubles on the roof became the blip of choice for today.
