A rough guide to the southside

Today I drove Luke to Edinburgh and left him to move in and get ready for the term beginning on Monday.

It was pouring with rain so not a great day for wandering around.

Southside recommendations:

Museum - Surgeons' Hall. Fascinating!

Bookshop - Blackwells. Overwhelming!

Place to eat - Mosque Kitchen - cheap and cheerful!

I was very taken with these new murals in Gibbs' Entry which have their own Facebook Page. They were painted by locals this summer.
