Happy vingt-et-un Pierre!

Pete is 21 today! 21?! I remember the day well. It'd been my 21st party the Saturday before. Big fancy dress party at Brinsley.

After the party weekend I was back at work on a course above old market square, when I got the call to say Peter had been born. I seem to recall it was a Tuesday and in my lunch hour I went off up to hmv in vic centre to see if I could buy a poster of the top 20 for that week! Michael Jackson, black or white was no.1 knocking vic reeves 'dizzy' off no1!

Hmv wouldn't sell me. Ah well, how could i be disappointed knowing my first nephew had just entered the world!

Today didn't start as well. 1 1/2 hours to drive just 8 miles into work! (Seriously I'm sure even in this condition I could run it!)

Ok ish morning at work, wander out at lunch and then back to work. Afternoon seemed to go on til Tuesday!

Lengthy journey home. Took an hour longer than it should've!

Pete and Kirsty round at mums for tea. They'd had a fab day. Kirsty is 21 on Friday what a week for big birthdays!

Home and dinner, rump steak, beaut.
