Eye On The Sky

What a fabulous 'Birthday Eve' I've had. Everyone was up and out reasonably early, The sun shone and we walked to the beach (a 2 minute walk) . Darren and Sam set up their fishing rods and the children joined in. We were intending to walk to Happisburgh for lunch but it was so lovely on the beach here and we had the whole place to ourselves. We popped back to the house for provisions and had bread, cheese, crisps, dips, prosecco and beer on the beach.
After a few hours, it started to cloud over and we headed back for a couple of hours lounging around before D cooked a huge Thai curry. I couldn't have asked for a better last day of my 40's.
