Málaga airport
Our flight was an hour late. An extra hour in the sun to take pictures of airport windows!
As we left we flew over Guadalmedina river mouth. It was alarming to see quite what a vast amount of soil was being washed out to sea - brown murk in the blue - even though the flood waters were metres lower today.
It reminded me of a (mythical?) dispute between Bangladesh and India about the ownership of a new island that had appeared in the Bay of Bengal. The argument went to and fro for some time, then landlocked (and seriously eroded) Nepal stepped in. And claimed the island...
