Sunrise above the clouds

It was a 3am wake up call for us today as we had to get up at silly o'clock to catch our flight to gatwick. Ethan was great and sat happily beside hubbie and granny.

We then had 3 hours to kill at gatwick before our flight to cancun. Ethan wilted as soon as we got on the plane and fell asleep for 2 hours shortly after takeoff. That was the only sleep he had though and for the rest of the flight only wanted me to entertain him so it was a long 11 hour flight for me!

On arrival at cancun our pre booked taxi didn't show up, so we had to pay for another one which was frustrating.

We finally made it to the hotel where there was a hassle with the rooms cos the first one wasn't properly cleaned and the second only had 1 bed! Finally 24 hours after getting up, we were in our room. Ethan had second wind and didn't want to go to sleep but wanted to go to the beach to build sandcastles in the dark!
