Cafe Bar, Bilbao
This morning was spent in the Guggenheim, where there were terrific views inside, outside and from an astonishing building. Not all of the art works were quite as good although an exhibition of Chinese Art since 1989 was fascinating. Disappointingly, photography of the art was strictly forbidden. Naturally, I tried to sneak one or two but after snapping part of one massive installation I was told-off by another visitor.
Later I went for a walk along the riverside, through the Plaza Nuevo and up the steep steps to the Basilica of Begona. There were lots of locals out and about, in a very colourful part of the City, enjoying the sunshine.
