Watching over us

Usual Saturday. Back “home” 18:30. Out for dinner with friends 19:00.

All 10 of us were parents with a child in the same year at school (which they left 10 years ago).

A lovely relaxed evening with great food and company. We ate in our hosts’ large glass extension overlooking their floodlit garden. When you saw the Terracotta soldier for the first time peering out from behind the tree you got a bit of a jolt!
