We rescued this Acer from Morrison's supermarket a few years ago. It cost £1 as it was just a stalk sticking out of a tiny pot & they wanted to get rid of it. Well, it's doing quite nicely, and the next few weeks the leaves will turn orange, then bright red, before giving up for this year.

Today's extra is this weekend's work, not quite as beautiful as the Acer, but a new opening gate, folding at the centre. Phew!
