Blackwater Bridge

I went all the way to Nelson and back today without taking a single photo, so I had to go out for a drive once I'd unpacked the groceries.

I decided to go up and see how much water was in Blackwater Creek. Tricky time of day to take a photo there - the bridge and creek were in full shade but the sun was still shining and the sky very blue, which kept reflecting in my photos. In the end zooming in on a totally overshadowed part took care of the worst of it, although you can still see the sky reflected in the foreground.
