Surrounded.....

Another day of showers. Ran another trailer load of dried oats into a bin . Yesterday’s shepherd interviewee phoned back to say he’d didn’t want the job. This is proving a real problem, not sure what to do next - sell the sheep ?

Tommy L in cutting the hedges round the winter barley fields. Normally this would be done before it is ploughed and sown , but thanks to rule changes a couple of years ago we can’t touch anything between March and the 1st September .
While I was feeding this lot of cows this morning Patch attracted an audience of calves. She doesn’t look too happy by the attention !
