To Whistler

The weather was a bit off this morning so The Bossess came up with a crafty plan. We would walk to the car rental place to pick up the car and drive to the hotel to pick up the suitcases. There was a great surprise waiting at the car rental place......it was the actual car we ordered. This was the first time in North America that had happened as the usual procedure is to greet you with much happiness and news of an “upgrade” to a much larger vehicle at the same price Cos they didn’t have the one you ordered. But they did...So they didn’t...errrr is that clear?
Anyway some time later we arrived in Whistler and revisited the same issue we had had the last visit some years ago when I was a lot younger SSD...We got lost trying to find the pub. YES we had GPS which announced we had arrived but the place we were staying at was nowhere to be seen.. and signage is banned in Whistler. Right after all that The Boss got a text from Granny (acycling) that it was snowing in Wanaka with a pic to prove it. It is also snowing in Banff where we are going in 5 days so Winter is following us.....The extra is the Fall colours here.
